Recommendations are based on information available at the time of planning. Outdoor conditions, road access, trail conditions, weather, closures, permits, and regulations can change. Travelers are responsible for checking current conditions and determining whether activities are appropriate for their abilities and experience.

Detailed Road Trip Route Planning

$30–$60

Take the stress out of mapping your adventure. We’ll build a detailed driving route with recommended stops, scenic roads, estimated drive times, fuel considerations, and points of interest along the way.

Campground & Campsite Planning

$25–$50

We’ll research campgrounds and camping options that fit your route, travel style, vehicle, and desired amenities, including public and private campgrounds where appropriate.

Backcountry Route Planning

$40–$75

Heading beyond the campground? We’ll research potential backcountry routes, trail information, mileage, elevation, access points, established camping areas, and other important trip considerations.

Final route selection and backcountry travel decisions remain the responsibility of the traveler and should always be adjusted for current conditions and individual experience.

Permit & Reservation Assistance

Some of the best adventures require a little extra preparation. We’ll help identify applicable permits, reservation windows, entry requirements, and important deadlines for your planned route.

Receive a customized packing and gear checklist based on your destination, season, planned activities, trip length, and travel style.

National Park Planning

$25–$50 per park

Make the most of your time in the park with recommendations for scenic drives, hikes, overlooks, must-see attractions, reservation requirements, and ways to organize your visit.

Hiking & Trail Recommendations

$25–$50

We’ll research hiking options based on your desired mileage, difficulty, scenery, available time, and experience level so you have a personalized list of trails to consider.

Stops Along the Way

$25–$40

Turn the drive into part of the vacation. We’ll research worthwhile stops along your route, including viewpoints, roadside attractions, local restaurants, small towns, parks, and other unique experiences.

Food & Resupply Planning

$20–$40

For longer road trips and backcountry adventures, we can help identify grocery stops, resupply locations, water considerations, and convenient places to restock along your route.

Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

$40–$60

Want everything laid out for you? We’ll create a detailed daily itinerary with driving times, suggested departure times, planned stops, hikes, camping locations, activities, and other recommendations.

Additional Itinerary Revisions

$20 per major revision

Your planning package includes up to two revisions. Major changes to destinations, routes, trip length, or the overall itinerary after planning has begun may require an additional revision fee.

Last-Minute Adventure Planning

$40–$75

Planning a road trip or backcountry adventure on short notice? Trips beginning within 14 days may require an expedited planning fee depending on the length and complexity of the trip.

Group Adventure Planning

Starting at $50

Traveling with a larger group? Additional planning is available for multi-vehicle road trips, group camping adventures, and trips involving multiple households or significantly different travel needs.

Build Your Adventure

Your Road Trip & Backcountry Planning Package — $75 gives you a personalized starting point for your adventure. Optional services allow you to hand off as much—or as little—of the detailed planning as you'd like.

Additional service pricing may vary depending on trip length, destination, group size, route complexity, and level of research required. Any additional fees will be discussed and approved before services are provided.
